Gun control. In this Archive, been there, done that multiple times.

Without shame or hesitation I offer to you another example of my passions about the issue, this time in the form of my reaction to the deaths of 33 people on the Virginia Tech University campus in 2007.

COMING NEXT: The Archive says farewell to 1988 with a column describing two families with whom I worked to help them celebrate the lives of their loved ones in funerals. In the 27 years since the debut of that column, funerals have become my signature ministry. It is therefore a special blessing for me to pay a visit to this entry.
