Blankets4Vets expands Helmets ministry

Helmets of Hope provides essential household supplies to vets moving into their own housing. Now we're going to provide blankets.

For more than two years, we’ve provided essential household supplies such as cleaners and laundry products to veterans who move off the streets and into housing of their own with the help of VA housing grants. Now we’re expanding our ministry to vets by collecting queen/full sized blankets that we will distribute to vets through our Helmets partners and, if possible, through other veteran service groups.

The blankets you donate don’t have to be new (though we’ve purchased new ones at Wal Mart for less than $10); clean is all we care about.

If you have one or more blankets, contact us or stop by the church - someone is in the building most of the day Tuesday-Friday.
