Super Moon: From the top!

On November 13 and 14, the moon orbited closer to the earth than it had in 68 years, and closer than it will again for another 18 years. The so-called "Super Moon" appeared 17% larger than usual to us, not because the moon was actually larger, but because its slightly elliptical - NOT circular - orbit around the earth brought it closer enough to earth to produce the appearance change. Our astronomy- and photography enthusiast pastor, Bill Coley, attached his camera to his telescope to capture these images. We hope you enjoy!
