Helmets of Hope into The Storm!
Show your support for veterans who move off the streets and into housing of their own AND for the Quad City's own hockey team, The Quad City Storm, by attending the team's January 11 game at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline.
Helmets of Hope provides essential household supplies for vets who escape homelessness with the help of VA housing subsidies. The rags, cleaners, paper- and laundry products, and more we provide meet a critical need as the vets Helmets serves rebuild their lives. Since December 2015, we've provided more than 13,000 items to more than 320 veterans in a 32 county area in Illinois and Iowa.
Because our ministry operates solely on the basis of money raised through donations and fundraisers, we're excited to partner with The Storm on Saturday, January 11, 2019. Every ticket purchase from the site to which the link is provided below will make a donation to our ministry:
- $5 from every $15 ticket puchased will go to Helmets of Hope
- $8 from every $20 ticket purchased will go to Helmets of Hope
