Archive Entry #73: February 20, 2003
Posted on March 18, 2015.
This archive entry – unfortunately posted one day late – comes from the weeks before the second Gulf War back in 2003, the one inspired by the alleged stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction.
In these days of global tension at the core of which are nation-state players such as Syria, Iran, and North Korea, as well as new actors such as the ISIS terrorist group, today’s entry makes a timely appearance. It turned out that some of the hesitations voiced in this February ‘03 article were well founded. Who knew? Obviously, our nation’s leaders at the time did not. I wonder whether they do today?
COMING NEXT: From March 2007, a column about doubt, a spiritual weak link that I still manage to carry occasionally; perhaps you do, too. Find it HERE.
