Archive Entry #70: March 6, 1997

I am not a fan of the predictable or expected, a fact that through the years has led me to use the “And from Bill...” space in unusual, creative, and I hope helpful ways.

Today’s entry takes the form of a faux news report, a template I have used a handful of times, including in my most memorable column ever that will come to the archive in May. We published this column exactly eighteen years ago today, on March 6, 1997. It still reads as a good, albeit partial, depiction of who I believe Jesus was and what he was after.
