Archive Entry #66: March 17, 2011
Posted on February 20, 2015.
This and the next entry in the Archive make an interesting, but perhaps also awkward, couple.
This column, from four years ago, is about some Dilbert comic strips that employed imagery from the life of Jesus for comedic gain. The next column, from 26 years ago, is my response to the Islamic world’s violent reactions to a novel by Salman Rushie. These columns offer interesting company to the modern era that only weeks ago witnessed the slaughter of a French satire magazine’s staff.
I don’t want to explain these columns; I want you simply to experience them for yourselves. Let me know what you think via the comment box below.
COMING NEXT: From March 1989, a response to the Islamic world’s response to a book by Salman Rushdie. Find it HERE.
