Archive Entry #31: April 27, 1988

Posted on October 21, 2014.

Among the objectives of this archive is to reflect the diversity of content and manners of presentation I have employed over the last 29 years. One of those manners of presentation has been columns inspired by little more than a happenstance moment and serving no great or necessary cause. Today’s entry is a great example of a column rising out of very thin air.

What you are about to read is not riveting composition. You may skip this entry altogether without risking the quality of the rest of your day. I include it only to prove to you that over the years I have been willing to write about anything, toward just about any kind of conclusion... even one that probably isn’t worth the time invested to get to it!

COMING NEXT: The archive’s first representative from the year 2011, a column about civil discourse – a subject relevant but for all intents and purposes irrelevant during election seasons such as the one we’re currently in. Find it HERE.
