Archive Entry #19: September 20, 2001

After terrorists commandeered passenger jets into the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, and toward Capitol Hill (a target thwarted by heroic passengers) on 9/11/2001, we all needed some time to catch our breaths and find words to report our reactions. These, published nine days after the attacks, were my words.
