Recipe: Spaghetti Casserole

In response to the requests she received for it, Paulette Anderson offers this recipe for the spaghetti casserole she prepared for a recent church event.

Spaghetti Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 32 ounces Prego Traditional sauce (or more to suit taste)
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Brown and drain hamburger
  • Cook and drain spaghetti for shortest recommended time
  • Beat eggs and mix into milk
  • Combine milk mixture with parmesan
  • Mix egg-milk-cheese into cooked spaghetti
  • Spread spaghetti mixture into 9"x13" casserole pan
  • Mix seasonings into cooked hamburger
  • Spread meat over spaghetti
  • Spread spaghetti sauce over the meat
  • Top with layer of mozzarella cheese
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly brown
  • Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
